I’m linking up with The Sky Girl and Natasha Musing for #WordlessWednesday, which provides an opportunity to share photos without words. I must admit I’m a little confused. Most of the “Wordless Wednesday” links I visited have words–sometimes lots of words. No matter. I’m in! Though I can’t promise I’ll participate every week, #WW gives me an opportunity to share the many photos hiding on my camera rolls without the pressure of having to come up with “words.” Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll let you choose the words. 😉 However, if you’d like to know about the photo, just ask. I’ll tell.
I know this place or this photo. Was I with you when you shot this?

I was out and about with the guys this particular Sunday. It’s next to the Dollar General on Wall Triana, near the Harvest PO. I think I sent you the photo after shooting it.

I’ve noticed the same thing about Wordless Wednesday. I thought someone somewhere must have a rulebook with a few loopholes.

LOL! It does make one think so! As for me–Wordless Wednesday will be wordless. 😀

Mine already are–I don’t post anything. But that’s cheating.

See Natasha’s note below. She explains why #WordlessWednesday is not so “wordless.”

That is a quaint shot with some unique lighting.
So good to see you jump into our #WordlessWednesday or not-so-#WordlessWednesday ;-)) linky party, Chandra.
A very warm welcome from Esha and yours truly.
So the thing is we love to write a few lines in most of our posts and make them not so wordless, as we enjoy the concept of a back story. They take us back to memory lane and give our readers some food for thought. But then it’s totally upto the participants, and they can choose to make their posts as wordless as they want to.
Would love to hear your back story too, if that’s alright.
And yes, hope to see you join in as often as you can. We don’t want those photos to get lost in the camera roll. :))
Have a great week ahead, and yes happy holidays! ❤

Thanks for the welcome and the reply! I’m going to take the easy way out–no words or as few words as possible–most of the time. I’m writing and reading all.the.time–beyond blogging–so this is a welcome “break.” Anyway, as for the backstory of this pic–it was taken on a Sunday afternoon drive. We stopped at a store and just across the parking lot there is this “abandoned” gas station/convenience store. Well, it turns out. It’s not abandoned at all! It’s been repurposed. It is now a thrift store! I have to remember to visit the store one day. The blog post title “Full of Surprises” comes from a sign above the door. If you’re not looking closely, you’ll miss it! The title fits because I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn’t really abandoned! 🙂
