March is over, but I still have a stimulating bunch of woman-centered art/words/postcards to share!
Here’s a sneak peek at most of the yellow and purple flower postcards I received for Women’s History Month. I’ll be sharing them on the blog throughout the next month or two (or three) because they deserve a closer look.
Speaking of [purple] flowers, look at the lovely tulip done by my friend Holly over at ThreeSixFiveArt. Holly was inspired by the purple tulips in my latest #WordlessWednesday post. She did a fantastic job! Stroll over to her blog to read about her process. [Click image below].
April is an insane month for those of us in higher education, so I’ll either blog less (because of time constraints) or more (because of self-imposed “time outs”).
I hope your week is filled with sunshine and flowers!
I love the abundance of postcards!! Thank you for posting my picture, and for sharing yours!

Thank you for allowing me to! I hope it brought at least a few more artists to your blog. Though you think it’s flawed, people like your purple tulip!

I agree–even if Holly doesn’t. 😉

Wow, those postcards are fabulous. The purple tulip is beautiful, and also has a special meaning to me too. The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust in the UK and online has certainly saved the lives of women, and was a key part of my life for a long time (I volunteered for them for six years after my ectopics). Their logo is a purple tulip. Now when I see it, I’ll think too of your sister Lori.

Thank you for sharing that info about the purple tulip. I didn’t know it was the logo for Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. That is an honorable cause and I’m happy they chose a purple tulip. Thank you for thinking of Lori now… Hugs…
