Winter is an etching,
Spring a watercolor,
Summer an oil painting, and
Autumn a mosaic of them all.
–Stanley Horowitz–
About the image: The photo was shot in Nashville, Tennessee at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere on a perfect autumn day. One day, I’ll have to share the animals I captured. 🙂
I am joining Parul Thakur for #ThursdayTreeLove every second and fourth Thursday of the month. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to her latest #treelove post.
I’m also linking up with with Dawn of The Day After in the Festival of Leaves photo challenge.

Thank you, Dawn! I realized something with this post, though. The original tree image is sharper. I didn’t realize how much WP downgrades the quality of images until this post. Then, I started looking at other posts and saw the huge differences in quality. I’ll have to figure this out…maybe.

I compress my files before I upload them. I thought that was a given.

I tested with a compressed file. Quality was downgraded even further.

This is truly a mosaic of colors. What a beautiful scene this would have been Chandra. I am glad you shared and let me see this. Looks like a dream.
Thanks for sharing and I hope to see you back tomorrow. 🙂

I’m in. I posted a week early because this week is sunflower week on my blog–and I have yet to see a sunflower tree. 😀
