After declaring that I would participate in Nancy Merrill’s photo challenge (a couple of weeks ago), I realized two things:
- I had already decided to participate in the weekly challenge hosted by Capture 52, a private Facebook photography group, and
- it’s often near impossible for me to find the time to photograph the weekly subjects, no matter how intriguing.
Therefore, I’ve decided to participate in a way that allows me a creative moment without the [self-imposed] stress–a mix of Nancy’s challenge, the Capture 52 challenge, and shots of whatever speaks to me when I can’t “find” anything to photograph related to the prompts.
Today, I’m sharing one of the photos I captured for the Capture 52 Week 4 prompt: Green.
Who knew I’d discover green puppies in a shop window? I couldn’t resist taking a shot with my phone camera or singing the song, “How Much Is the Doggie in the Window?” Are you singing it too?
Be sure to tune in tomorrow for #ThursdayTreeLove. Maybe, there will be more green!
Super sweet. I like your decision. Too much stress is not what we need.

Indeed. For me, they would have to be bears. LOL!

Want to squish those green puppies. They are adorable and paw-some. ❤ ❤
I sometimes feel blogging puts unnecessary pressure on us, especially the challenges. As though life didn't have enough challenges that we needed to deal with and now deal with a Blog challenge. :-)) Ha ha! Just venting.
You have yourself a wonderful week dear Chandra. ❤
Much love
And tseeing logo made me grin ear to ear. Thank you 🙂

I understand the vent. Most of it is self-imposed nonsense. We don’t HAVE to do them, but we create the obligations in our heads. I have enough on my plate, so I will take it easy. I’m happy seeing the logo made you smile. 🙂 Happy Week(end) to you too!

Or you could change the words slightly and sing, “How green is that doggie in the window?” 🙂

Glad you settled for what works for you, Chandra! There’s no point beating ourself for things that stress us because we’ve all got quite a handful as it is. Love the cutie pies. And that song always brings back memories of my son’s toddler years (it used to be one of his favourite songs and usually played in a loop!!)
Thank you for joining us despite your busy schedule, Chandra. Happy #wordlesswednesday and see you again this week.
Cheers,
Esha

Aww…how sweet the memory of your son’s toddler years. They go by so fast. A memory from my son’s toddler years popped up in my FB feed this morning. It warmed my heart. Thanks, too, for the affirmation. I’m in this week as well!
