Sweet memories are timeless treasures of the heart.
It’s late and I am overwhelmed [not panicked] by “all the things” and all the COVID-19 precautions and contingencies. I find it necessary to pause the madness of planning and class preparations to share a little #treelove this evening.
This is not the post I planned, but it is the one I needed.
In the photo above, my then two-year-old [thought he] was hiding in the banana trees at my parents’ home. I ran across the photo on my hard drive moments ago, and at the sight of this sweet remembrance, a wave of calm washed over me.
All is not right in the world, but all is well in my heart.
I am joining Parul Thakur for #ThursdayTreeLove every second and fourth Thursday of the month. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to her latest #treelove post.
This, too, will pass, Chandra. And in a little while we will all laugh about the toilet paper hoarders.

Smiles. Love your position on this. The state of our mind on this is key. We should choose calm rather than panic.

Thanks for loving it. Thankfully, we have blogs and books and online museums to keep us all from going stir crazy.

Aw, Chandra, what an adorable picture. Stay in calm. Don’t feed the panic that is out of control. Stay safe and be smart. This too shall pass. (((HUGS)))!!! xo

Thank you. But definitely no panic here. I was just overwhelmed by so all the news and rising cases and trying to get a handle on what I knew was coming–school shutdown for my son, university shutdown for me. Transitioning all of my courses to online and figuring out a solid schedule to meet one on one with students. That’s a lot to process “all of a sudden.” But we’ll get through, and as you say, “this too shall pass” for sure. Praying for all affected.

All of us have to think smart and act smart. I agree there is a lot to process. We’ve had a lot of changes too in order to stay safe. I have my own theories as to why this virus is so virulent, but I could go on and on and have no proof. Let’s just all pray that this pandemic, if you can call it that, is over soon. xo
