Two Cards | Appropriate for These Times | #WordlessWednesday

Art by Nola C. Specially colored for me by Christine B.

I read a Washington Post article this morning that reported the number of COVID-19 hospitalizations is rising in several U.S. states.

The card says it all.

It’s hard not to worry, but I am consoling myself with the hope that we are giving birth to something new and healthy.

About the Images: I received the cards in this #WordlessWednesday post from my friend and fellow Love Noter, Christine B. One arrived in April and the other late May. They are so appropriate for these times. The über cute “Socially Distant Hug” coloring card features the artwork of Nola C. She designed a number of free Corona coloring pages. You can find this card and others on her Facebook page.  The pretty “This Sucks” card is from Paper Raven Company.

It does suck and I so miss hugs. Glad to know you received them and that you see them as appropriate. I like your idea of hope for change. I need something positive to think about to change my negative mood.

This “rise” is to be expected. This virus is going nowhere and now with people coming out of isolation, it only makes sense this will happen. Do not worry. Those people who have this virus now have immunity. This is a GOOD thing! There is always a silver lining in the dark cloud. Besides, the media …. PLEASE stop watching and reading! …. sensationalizes everything and blows everything out of proportion in order to feed into your fear. There is nothing to fear but fear itself. xo

Yes, I want those real hugs from my dear ones. It sucks. But something’s gotta give!

We are in it together, and thats what keeps me going.

    Love.

Yes. This whole thing is becoming rather frustrating. I wish things had remained closed here a bit longer. Now, we’re beginning to see a rise in cases in certain areas. Sigh…But as you say, we’re all in this together.
