My creative energy has been extremely high the last few days, but since I’m working feverishly to meet a deadline for work, there’s been little time to benefit from that energy. I felt a little like Virginia Woolf this weekend, so late Friday night just before slipping into dream land, I took a moment to make doodle art in her honor.
One of these will become a postcard. The only problem is I don’t know which one I like best, so you get to choose.

They ARE both amazing. The gold has a kind of Egyptian sarcophagus gravitas, but the other has more emotion and play and a “mixing it up” feel. It hums with madness better than the more reserved gold one. Oh, almost forgot, “imho”.

Well, interestingly, I don’t find her story sad. I find it perfectly logical. She accomplished her mission, as she saw it, and decided upon her time. The great shame of it, I think, is that she was still young, and likely could have contributed much more, given…something, I’m not sure what.

Both are so beautiful …the second one blends the colours so well…..resembles a creative mind that is flooded and different ideas…but I’m just partial to yellow….so 🌻😊
