Her writing was required reading in seminary. She made me squirm and think in ways few others have. The quote you used here is a perfect example.

I like that she made folks squirm. Her writing helped me find a way to do that too. I wasn’t as “tame” my last years of grad school as I was my first years.

She had such an extraordinary mind. I think any black woman who comes across her thinking is stunned, in the best way. She was pure brilliance. May blessing surround her in her rest.
