#ThursdayTreeLove | One Photo, Endless Possibilities

One Tree Original

if the trees
keep releasing,
keep rising,
keep reaching for the light,
then so shall i.

My #ThursdayTreeLove postings have been sporadic lately, but my camera roll serves as witness—I have been thoroughly enjoying the trees of winter.

I see the stand of trees in today’s post almost daily as I travel to work and other destinations. It always catches my attention, so when traffic slowed to a stop on a day with a perfect sky, I took advantage and took a shot.

The photo is currently serving as my artistic “template” for Sheila Delgado’s February 2023 30-Day Creative Gathering. My theme this month: “One Photo, Endless Possibilities.” My goal is to create a different photo-artistic version of the glorious scene each day. By the end of the month, I will have 28. I look forward to sharing them with you.

I am joining Parul Thakur for #ThursdayTreeLove every second and fourth Thursday of the month. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to her latest #treelove post.

Such a fabulous idea, Chandra! I keep think of the scene in the old “Rebecca” movie, where she mentions that her Dad painted the same tree over and over. LOL. It sounds silly, but as an artist, and photographer, you know it is absolutely not. Each day of your trees has been a surprise, and a JOY! Rock on, talented one! 🙂 (Thanks for the group shout out. xoxo)

Yay for shoutouts! Yeah. I am thoroughly enjoying the various versions of the trees. Thanks for enjoying them. If I were a painter-artist, I would love to capture the (daily) subtle changes on a single tree from summer to fall to winter or winter to spring. I guess, I could do it with a camera, but doubt I’d be disciplined enough to shoot a photo per day of the same tree. :-/

Love that quote and that shot too. I also click on the go and those are my fav shots. Thank you for joining. Sporadic is okay and life comes in between the many things we juggle. Thank you for joining and I hope to see you tomorrow.
